Bio

Republican Tom Harman was first elected to the state senate in a special election in 2006. He represents California’s 35th Senate District. Harman currently serves as the Minority Whip of the Republican caucus in the state senate.
Prior to joining the senate, Harman was a member of the California State Assembly from 2000-2006 and a member of the Huntington Beach City Council from 1994-2000.
