Bio

Republican David Cogdill represents California’s 14th Senate District. He was first elected to the state senate in November 2006. His current term ends in 2010. He also served in the California State Assembly from 2000-2006 and as a member of the Modesto City Council in the mid-90s. In a press release sent out November 10, 2009, Cogdill announced he would not be seeking re-election in 2010.
