Bio

John J. Benoit was a Republican member of the California State Senate. Benoit was first elected to the state senate in November 2008, to represent California’s 37th Senate District. He resigned in 2009 in order to take office as a member of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors on Dec. 1. Prior to joining the state senate, Benoit was a member of the California State Assembly from 2002-2008.
